HMS Royal George [George IV]
Figurehead of HMS 'Royal George' in the form of a bust of George IV in Roman armour, crowned with a laurel wreath. The ship was a 120-gun first-rate, originally the 'Neptune' but renamed during building about 1823 and launched at Chatham Dockyard in 1827. She was finally undocked as an auxiliary screw ship of 102 guns in 1853 and sold to Castle's of Charlton for breaking up in 1875.
