Official boat badge of HMS Cambrian
The boat badge of HMS 'Cambrian' 1916. The official design approved in July 1921. It depicts on a field white, a Welsh dragon red on a mount green. The badge is a pentagonal shape with a gold rope twist border representing a cruiser. It is made of cast brass, painted and drilled at the corners. 'CAMBRIAN' is inscribed on the reverse. HMS 'Cambrian' was a light cruiser launched at Pembroke dock in 1916. She spent the end of the war with the 4th light cruiser squadron. She underwent a refit during 1924-26 and in 1929 conveyed troops to China. She was sold for breaking up in 1934.
