Ship's bulkhead clock
Ship's bulkhead clock with an enamel dial, Roman numerals, blued steel hands and a subsidiary seconds hand, mounted in a walnut fixing block. The block has a paper label attached which reads, 'This clock was removed from one of the Blockships sunk to form part of the Mulberry Harbour at the Invasion of France on 6 June 1944. The ship was sailed to France and scuttled by Captain J. H. McK. Warner, Charlotte Warner's father'.
These striking clocks were used to sound the ship's 'watches'.
