HMS Conway MMSA Prize Medal
Awarded to W. Howard, HMS Conway. Obverse: Neptune holding trident and staff with flag bearing the arms of Liverpool, left elbow resting on a shield bearing a foul anchor, and Britannia right elbow on shield bearing full-rigged ship. Both are seated facing outwards. Between them the arms of Liverpool over a staff of Aesculapius. Between the shields two cornucopiae. Exergue: 'INCORPORATED BY SPECIAL ACT OF PARLIAMENT'. Legend: 'MERCANTILE MARINE SERVICE ASSOCIATION". The winner in 1920 was Cadet W. Howard. Reverse. Inscription within a laurel wreath: 'Awarded to W. Howard Jarvis For Greatest Proficiency In All Branches of Training and Education On Board HMS Conway.' In case of issue. Hallmarked.
