Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of the Cunard Line passenger vessel Caronia (1904). The hull is painted black with brick red at the waterline, a fine white stripe above running the entire length of the vessel and white bulwarks. There are anchors on the port and starboard bows. The decks are painted a uniform off white with mid-grey cargo hatch covers. The long foredeck has anchor cables, wave deflector, two hatches, and derricks rigged to a foremast. The superstructure has two promenade decks. The bridge house is flanked by a pair of bridge wings and above it is an open look-out. There are 16 pairs of lifeboats, double stacked on port and starboard sides, stowed on davits. Between the lifeboats there are two funnels painted red with narrow black stripes and black tops in Cunard Line house colours. Clustered around the two funnels are four ventilators, painted white with red openings. Aft of the lower promenade deck is a pair of small hatches served by derricks rigged to the mainmast. There is a small boat deck with four lifeboats stowed, double stacked. There is a cargo hatch toward the stern and aft of it is a raised deck with four lifeboats stowed, double stacked and secondary bridge wings. On the base of the model is tHe number '30'.
