Passenger vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger vessel. The hull is painted black with brick red at the waterline and a fine white stripe above running the entire length of the vessel. The decks are painted a uniform buff with mid-grey cargo hatch covers. The foredeck has a single rectangular hatch served by a pair of derricks. The low superstructure is positioned amidships. There is a tall foremast and immediately after it an open bridge flanked by bridge wings with an enclosed pilot house between them. Accommodation is on a single deck indicated by two groups of portholes. The boat deck has four pairs of lifeboats on port and starboard sides painted white with pale grey covers, stowed on davits. At the stern of the boat deck there is a main mast. Between the lifeboats there are five skylights and two funnels painted ochre with black tops. There is a single large square hatch on the aft deck. On the base of the model is '424'.
