Second Class Verandah Café on the 'Aquitania' (1914)

Interior of the passenger liner 'Aquitania' (1914) showing the Second Class Verandah Café, on the Bridge Deck (B Deck), a view looking across to the starboard side, with the sliding doors opened. The windows of the Second Class Smoking Room are visible on the left side of the image.

The design of the interiors on the 'Aquitania' was largely the work of Arthur Joseph Davis (1878-1951) of the architects Mewès & Davis, London. The decoration of the Second Class Verandah Café was carried out by Robson & Sons Ltd, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
