Badge and Star: Order of Nichan Iftikhar, 1st class
Awarded to Adm-Fleet Lord Cunningham of Hyndhope. 1882-1957 pattern. Badge: Uniface, a chipped silver star of ten points bearing a green-enamelled circular centre inscribed with the Bey's name in Arabic surrounded by a chipped silver raised circle. From the centre, under the central boss, ten rays, enamelled alternatively red and green, radiate to the edge between the points of the silver star. Each coloured ray has a silver stripe along its length. Badge suspended from a bow in chipped silver. Worn on the left hip from a yellow and green ribbon with two claret stripes near each eadge. Star: Larger version of the badge in silver except for the green enamelled centre and without the bow.
