HMS Vanguard (1944); Warship; Battleship
Scale: 1:1200. A waterline model of HMS Vanguard (1944), a battleship made from die-cast metal. The hull and upperworks are painted blue-grey, and the funnel tops, director towers, and deck fittings are painted gloss black. There are two black plastic tripod masts and two heavy derricks. There are four twin 15 inch gun turrets (two forward and two aft) which are riveted through the deck. There are eight twin 5.25 inch gun turrets amidships also riveted through the deck. All the turrets are moveable. Inscription on the underside reads: "M.741 H.M.S.Vanguard". The model is stored in its presentation pack.
