With a separate handle to wind-up the clock which is marked ZAA0851.1 and can be found via the Whole/Part toggle. Patented in UK by Martin Fischer of Zurich in 1900, no. 11,340. The master clock generates an electrical pulse every 30 seconds, which is sent through subsidiary dials for advancing the hands every 30 seconds. This is an 8-day spring-wound version with a lever platform escapement. It was intended to operate a series of dials on board a large ship, such as an ocean liner.
