Celestial table globe
Celestial table globe. Astronomical details on the sphere show the Milky Way. Constellations are marked on the sphere with the main stars in each linked with a line. The constellation areas are outlined by dotted lines. The brightest star in each constellation is named, the others given the appropriate Greek letter. Clusters and nebulae are also labelled. This globe is identical to George Philip & Son, ZBA1728, although in slightly better condition.
