Tobacco box lid
Tobacco box lid, cast with 'Humanity' on the lid. The kneeling African figure is derived from Wedgwood’s famous plaque, which became one of the most ubiquitous images of the abolition campaign. Part of the Michael Graham-Stewart slavery collection.
