Ebony and Ivory
A caricature of a tall, thin African man with a short, fat European woman on his arm; both are attired in fashionable dress. Below the image is the inscription: ‘Each gives to each a double charm/ Like pearls upon Ethiop’s Arm/ London Pub. May 1 1824 by S. & J. Fuller, Temple of Fancy 34 Rathbone Place’.
