Decca D202 Maritime Radar
Decca D202 Maritime Radar
This radar is mounted in small ships and yachts. Its performance range goes from 25 yards to 24 miles. The bulkhead-mounted transceiver has 3 kW power and switches automatically from a short pulse at close range to a long pulse for distance probing. The six-range display unit has a 6” cathode ray tube and controls in a case of welded stainless steel. A static power unit for use with low-voltage supplies is used. The D2020 antenna is a lightweight slotted waveguide system driven at 24 rpm and engineered for several types of mounting.
