Arrow

An arrow, which is part of a collection of ethnographical material made by Admiral Sir George Back (1796-1878). It has three radial feather flights tied at the ends of the feathers. The shaft under the feathers is painted red. It has a triangular iron head fitted into a slit in the shaft and secured by lashing.
