Cinematographers aboard HMS Queen Elizabeth (1913)
Cinematographers at work at sea between Scapa Flow and Cromarty, accompanied by some of HMS Queen Elizabeth (1913)'s junior officers. The photograph was taken at the after end of the upper deck, with one of 'Y' turret's 15-inch guns visible in the top left-hand corner. The shadow cast by Viscount Curzon can be seen at the bottom of the picture.
The men in view are (from left to right) Clerk Edward S Burton, Sub-Lieutenant Lawrence F Foley, Sub-Lieutenant Edward C Bindloss, Midshipman Alfred S Russell, Midshipman Geoffrey M D Maltby and Midshipman Cyril H C Matthey DSC. The civilian cinematographers have not been identified.
