A starboard bow view of the M class destroyer HMS Marmion (1915) of the 11th Destroyer Flotilla attached to the Grand Fleet. Steaming behind her and viewed from the same angle is the Acorn class destroyer HMS Lyra (1910) of the 2nd Destroyer Flotilla, then also attached to the Grand Fleet. The location is uncertain but could be Cromarty Firth.
