Royal Naval uniform: pattern 1953
Flag officer's sword belt with three bands of gold braid belonging to Terence Thornton Lewin (1920-1999). Black silk webbing lined girdle 1 1/2" wide, slings 1" wide on sliders, embroidered in three straight gold lines. The belt has a leather back and straps. The circular clasp has an embossed wreath of laurel and in the centre an anchor surmounted by a Queen's crown. Plain carriage buckles.
