Gyroscopic sextant box. Glued onto the inside of the lid are instructions on how to use the sextant in German. Within the box is a typewritten translation of the instructions into English and a pamphlet titled 'NAVIGATION Jounal of the Institute of Navigation' Vol 1 Number 6 June 1947.
