Inscriptions:
"A drawing descriptive of the mode of trussing the West India Steam Ships now in building by Mr Duncan of Greenock and others, shewing the truss pieces between the timbers and the wrought iron bands 4" x 3/4" let their whole thickness into the inside of the timbers, their angles being so placed as to afford support from the 3 neutral points in the longitudinal position of the body".
