Spanish dollar. Obverse: Engraved on a smooth surface, a view of Fort Belgica with British flag flying, trees on either side. Inscription: 'Banda: Taken August: 9th: 1810'. Reverse: Port broadside view of the frigate under full sail. Inscription: (above) 'John Redmon', (below) 'HM Ship La Piemontaise' (sic). (HMS 'Caroline' (Capt Cole), HMS 'Piedmontaise' (Capt Foote) and HMS 'Barracouta' (Capt Kenah) captured this island in the Moluccas without loss of life).
