Hudson Bay Company trading token. 1/2 Beaver. The obverse displays the Hudson Bay Company arms within oak branches and the motto: 'PRO PELLE CUTEM'. The reverse displays the inscription, 'HB EM 1/2
NB'. The 'E.M.' Eastmain (ie E.side of James Bay). NB is a die cutters error it should read MB.
