Commemorative medal bearing the words 'Lest We Forget'. Obverse: Female figure in classical dress, with helmet (Britannia) holding a laurel wreath above the head of a dying warrior, the British flag in his left hand. Legend: 'LEST WE FORGET.' Reverse: In the top third of the background a battleship steaming on the sea, in the foreground is a wall with a blank plaque. In front of it are two laurel wreaths and a larger wreath of yew. To the left stand two uniformed men - a soldier and a sailor - heads bowed and hands crossed on their reversed rifles. Issued by the department store, Derry and Toms, in three sizes - 3 1/4", 1 3/4", and 1 1/4".
