Caesar Medal
Obverse: Within a double cable border, a sailor, standing, his left resting on the stock of an upright anchor, his right hand on the truck of a gun. (as MED0296 but from a different die). Legend: "ENGLAND EXPECTS EVERY MAN TO DO HIS DUTY". Reverse: Caesar swimming towards the stern of a galley (R) an army on the shore (L) above, a fort armed with men. Inscribed: above (R) incuse: "George Shepherd". Exergue: "CAESAR MEDAL".
