Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, Royal Naval Reserve (1910). Obverse: Bust of King George V in naval uniform, orders and medals (left). Legend: 'GEORGIVS V BRITT : OMN: REX ET IND : IMP'. Reverse: Starboard broadside view of the battle ship H.M.S. Dreadnought. Legend: 'DIUTERNE FIDELIS'. Inscription on edge: "V.905 H. RIDGE. STO. R.N.R." Fitted with a bar and dark blue ribbon (RNR).Until 1919 this medal was also issued for the RNVR but after that date the same medal was issued to the RNVR, RFR and Wireless and Sick Berth Reserves but with a green ribbon edged with blue and a narrow scarlet stripe (RNVR) or a ring and blue ribbon edged with white and a narrow red stripe RFR.
