Crimea War Medal 1854
Obverse: Head of Queen Victoria with a diadem, hair tied in a knot (L). Legend: "VICTORIA REGINA". Below "1854". Reverse: Victory flying (R) crowning with a laurel wreath a Roman soldier standing (L) with shield and short sword. Inscription "CRIMEA" (vertical, L). Suspended from a foliated bar and pale blue ribbon edged with yellow. Bars: "AZOFF"; "SEBASTOPOL". Uninscribed. Awarded to Cdr. Charles Gerveys Grylls RN. H.M.S.Sans Pareil and H.M.S.Triton.
