Inscription on the edge: 'GEO.O.LEMPRIERE, LIEUT'. the medal is mounted in a velvet frame with MED1430. It is suspended by a straight clasp from a white ribbon, edged dark blue. Lempriere was a Midshipman in HMS 'Russell' at Copenhagen.
