Elfin (1849)

Scale 1:48. A drawing of the paddle Royal yacht Elfin (1849), signed by Oliver W. Lang, Assistant Master Shipwright at Chatham Dockyard, and dated 4 August 1848. Showing sheer lines, body plan and longitudinal half-breadth, including details of the paddle boxes, and the bow and stern decoration. With the inscriptions:
-'Sheer drawing of the 'Elfin' Dispatch boat prepared in accordance with the direction of the Surveyor of the Navy of the 2nd inst. H.G. Ward 23rd August 1848'
-'Chatham Yard 30 August 1866 P. Thornton Master Shipwright'
