A 12x10 negative. A port near broadside side view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Doric (1883) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has yards on her fore and main masts. The passenger steam launch Maude (1886) is in the foreground. Tilbury is in the background.
