Uncatalogued: Yachting journal kept by the owner, Thomas Aveling of Rochester and his family and friends (written in several hands).

The journal focusses on a 5 year period of cruising in the North Sea and the Channel, and includes crossing to Boulogne, Ostend and Flushing.
Illustrated with 56 watercolours and drawings, with 88 quarter-plate photographs and several pieces of ephemera. The photographs focus on places visited during the summer months including Dover, Newhaven, Margate, Chichester, Southsea, and so on.
