London Marathon this Sunday

Cutty Sark will be closed on Sunday 27 April until 2pm due to the London Marathon. All other sites are open to visitors and spectators as normal, but please check road closures before you travel and allow extra time as the area will be busy. Parking at the National Maritime Museum is unavailable all day.

Bradford, Sir Edward Eden, Admiral, 1858-1935.

The papers mainly relate to Bradford's earlier career and include detailed log books and journals from 1873 to 1883, official progress certificates, reports, etc, as well as letters and reminiscences. Contained in one journal are entries regarding the events in the Solomon Islands while serving in HMS SANDFLY and elsewhere in the collection are newspaper articles and poems relating to this incident.
