Lieutenant Jonathan Brown RN. An account of the battle of Trafalgar mentioning his own hopes of promotion. Brown had served with Sir Robert Calder and had been presented at the action off Cape Finesterre, for which Calder was court-martialled in 1805. Lieutenant Pilfold commanded the AJAX during the battle of Trafalgar, and received various rewards for his services. (Trafalgar Roll)
