Plaque
Purple lustre wall plaque with a scrolled 'frame' border. It is transfer-printed in black with a starboard-broadside view of a warship inscribed 'DUKE OF WELLINGTON-131 GUNS.' 'HMS Duke of Wellington' 1852 was Napier's flagship in the Baltic in 1854. The print is crudely hand-coloured with yellow sails, green sea, and red and blue flags and pennants. The border is spashed lustre with copper lustre edging. Two suspension holes have been pierced at the top.
