Milk jug

White porcelain milk jug with a handle moulded to suggest canework. It is transfer-printed in blue under the lip with an Admiralty seal device surmounted by a St Edward's crown (a foul anchor surrounded by the inscription 'SIGIL : OFFI : MAG : ADMIR : MAG : BR : &C'). Government issue china, as used in Royal Navy wardrooms between 1955 and 1969. The maker's mark is printed on the base.
