Jug
Jug, part of a service made for HMY 'Victoria and Albert' 1899 and used in the wardroom. The jug is made of porcelain with a scroll handle and is painted with blue scrolling foliage decorated with gilding. The lip is moulded in a shell pattern. A garter badge below the lip with a king's crown above, is inscribed 'THE ROYAL YACHT'. The maker's mark is impressed and printed on the base with the date letter and painted pattern number '8120'.
