Figure
Staffordshire painted earthenware figure representing Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, later Edward VII (1841-1910), in a sailor suit, hands in pockets. It is loosely based on the 1846 portrait by Franz Xaver Winterhalter. The face and hair are naturalistically coloured and the figure wears a red scarf, and yellow straw hat.
