Plaque for launching casket
Plaque contained in launching casket HMS Royal Albert 1854. Inscripion: 'This Mallet & Chisel (made from a piece of the Victoy's Hull) liberated the Dog Shores at the launch of the ROYAL ALBERT at Woolwich. The Ship was named by her Majesty the Queen. The Royal Albert was designed and partly built by the late Oliver Lang Esqre. was completed and launched by William McPherson Rice Esqr Master Shipwright.'
