'Warrior' (1860)
Scale 1:96. A plan showing the inboard profile of the broadside ironclad 'Warrior' (1860).
The loaded waterline and existing ladderways are picked out in blue ink, while proposed (and approved) alterations are drafted in red ink. The latter illustrate a plan to use the 'Warrior' as a depot/store ship for destroyers and torpedo boats. The conversion took place in 1902.
Signed by J. A. Yates [Chief Constructor, Portsmouth Dockyard from 31 July 1895].
