'Warrior' (1860) [later 'Vernon III' (1904)]
Scale 1:24. A plan showing proposed alterations to the topsides in the area of the poop of the broadside ironclad 'Warrior' (1860) in connection with her planned conversion to the training workshop vessel 'Vernon III' (1904).
The work appears to have been contracted to the firm of Day Summers & Co. Ltd., whose stamp is on the drawing. Two proposals -labeled 'A' and 'B' are shown, the most notable difference being the application of new iron knees in proposal 'A'. A note on the plan indicates that proposal 'A' was accepted, but the iron knees dispensed with.
