A green photograph album relating to the career of Rear Admiral Henry John Carr, with a broken leather spine and containing circa 300 photographs. "Photographs" is gold blocked on the spine, and "Photographs H. I. C" is gold bocked on a red leather panel on the front cover.
The following locations are included: Corfu, Malta, Gibraltar, Madeira, Rio de Janeiro, Falkland Islands, Constantinople, Norway.
The following vessels are included: HMS Bombay (1828), HMS Narcissus (1859), HMS Monarch (1868).
There are also photographs of studies of Greek architecture and topography, and also of studies of English architecture. There are also some loose photographs.
