A photograph album with blue leather covered board covers. The album contains 27 black and white 203mm x 152mm photographs mounted one to a leaf, and there are manuscript ink captions. The upper cover has the gilt title: "S.T.S. MANTUA Launched 15th April 1960 Sponsor Mrs. A. D. Marris".
The album includes the launching party, the launch, interiors, ship portraits and the trials period. There is also a manuscript title page with the dimensions and particulars of the vessel.
