A black ring-bound photograph album containing 28 leaves and 31 photographs mounted with corner pockets. There are typewritten captions to each photograph with the master's name, vessel's name and date of sailing.
The album includes portraits of shipmasters (there are 28 shipmasters represented) who took delivery of ships from the Naval Yard at Walker on Tyne 1947-1954.
