Contents Note: Shows Lord Edward Fitzgerald's route from Fredericton to Quebec in the month of March 1789. George Sproule (1743-1817) was a military surveyor whose work on the American coast in the 1770s was incorporated into JFW Des Barres' Atlantic Neptune. This manuscript chart is very similar to the printed charts in the Museum's Atlantic Neptune series HNS122, HNS127 and HNS130.
