Fragment of a star map showing the stars of the zodiac eight degrees either side of the ecliptic cylindrical projection. Printed in the 'Atlas Maritimus'. The positions of the stars 'accurately laid down by the said Mr Edmund Halley'. Map found together with two manuscript letters relating to Halley and James Clarke's return journey from St Helena in 1678, which were transferred to the manuscript department (HSR/Z/35).
