Album relating to the naval service of Captain E. W. B. Sim (1899-1941)

There is a photograph album with 22 leaves and 215 prints pasted in, and 1 loose photograph, but no captions. There are also loose sheets with 16 prints lightly glued, with minimal captioning. Also, there are a large number of loose photographs, portraits from boyhood etc kept with this album.
The album includes the following vessels: Haiching (1898), Chichibu Maru (1930), HMS Sterling (1918), HMS Sepoy (1918), HMS Moth (1915), HMS Sirdar (1918) [D59], HMS Titania (1915), Empress of Japan (1930), HMS Thracian (1920) [D86], HMS Hermes (1919), HMS Bruce (1918), HMS Arethusa (1934) 1937-possibly 1939 (on five loose album sheets). Also put into the collection are Arethusa (1882), Caldwell (1919) with a rolled up photo of the crew in 1942.
Also included are the following locations: China possibly circa. 1929-31, We Hai Wei, Honolulu, Hong Kong Kong, Canton.
