Duncan (1901)
Scale 1:48. Plan shows the platform deck, as fitted, of the Duncan class battleship Duncan (1901). A Chatham Dockyard stamp, bearing the signature of W. James [Chief Constructor of Chatham Dockyard 1897-1907] dated 9 October 1903 is printed on the drawing. A second Chatham Dockyard Chief Constructor's stamp stating the plan has been noted and returned, dated 23 February 1904 is also printed on the drawing. Two Gibraltar Dockyard stamps, bearing the signature of W. G. Cole [Chief Constructor of Gibraltar Dockyard 1907-1913] are stamped on the plan. The drawing shows alterations in red ink, dated March 1908 and burnt sienna ink, dated October 1912. This plan bears the signatures of C. H. Palfreyman [Junior Draughtsman], R. Millard [Junior Draughtsman] and J. Harcombe, who examined the drawing in the bottom left corner. A table with details of the Shell Room contents on the platform deck is drawn above the drawing.
