Dinner to Mark the Launch of the Van de Velde Catalogue at the Queens House, 15th October 1990
This is a navy blue PVC board covered album (post held), containing 28 photographs dry mounted one to a page plus 2 loose photographs (305mm x 254mm) taken on the same occasion. There is one print (133mm x 102mm) from another Queen's House function loose at the back. A press release dealing with the event is slipped in at the back.
The album includes the following:
Groups of guests
HRH The Duke of Edinburgh being greeted by Lord Levin, Chairman of the Trustees
Michael Robinson author of the catalogue, being invested with the insignia of the Knight of the Order of the Orange Nassau by the Dutch ambassador
The Duke being presented with a copy of the catalogue by Mr L. C. van Wachem, the host for the evening
