The funnel and bridge area of the destroyer HMS Onslow

A view of the funnel and bridge area of the destroyer HMS Onslow (1941), seen from aft and to starboard from another ship. The picture shows shows damage sustained by Onslow during the Battle of the Barents Sea. Numerous splinter holes are visible in the after end of the bridge. The multi-barrelled ‘pom-pom’ anti-aircraft mounting appears to be undamaged despite its proximity to the damaged area.
