Saucer
A white bone china saucer with a gilded rim as used on Port Line vessels. The maker's mark is printed on the base. This pattern was described by the donor, a purser with Port Line, as the 'Early Morning Call' service. AAA5913 and AAA5914 are a similar design. The Port Line carried refrigerated cargo from Australia and New Zealand and manufactured goods on the outward journey. Their ships also carried passengers. Blue Star and Port Lines operated under one management as Blue Star Port Lines from 1968.
