A captive balloon above HMS 'Aurora' (1913)
A view looking up at the top of the foremast of the light cruiser HMS 'Aurora' (1913). The photographer was possibly standing on the roof of the port side Warrant Officers WC (toilet), as the rangefinder platform and searchlight platforms are visible. Above the foremast is a captive balloon, claimed to be towed by the patrol vessel P.30 (1916).
